Andrés Pico Adobe, built in 1834, is the oldest residence in the San Fernando Valley, and the second oldest residence in Los Angeles. Brand Park, also called Memory Garden, is a part of the original land grant of Mission San Fernando Rey de España. Memory Garden is a popular Valley destination for weddings and quinceañeras. Nearby is the San Fernando Mission Cemetery, one of the oldest active cemeteries in the San Fernando Valley.
