Christine, a resident of the Seventh District, is proud to serve as the Chief of Staff for Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez.
Prior to joining Councilwoman Rodriguez Office, Christine served in the administration of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. During her tenure in the Office of the Mayor, she served as Director of Domestic Violence Programs and Services in the in the Mayor’s Office of Public Safety, overseeing seeing the City’s Domestic Abuse Response Teams and also in the Mayor’s Office of City Services where she focused on policy and program development and outreach, working closely with the Los Angeles Public Library, the Department of Cultural Affairs, El Pueblo and the Department of Aging.
Christine also served the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment, Southern California Associations of Governments, the Campaign for College Opportunity, the Office of Los Angeles then-City Councilmember Eric Garcetti, and Los Angeles City Councilwoman Wendy Greuel.
She is an advocate of social justice, avid reader, and loves the unique communities and diverse cultures that enrich Los Angeles. Christine is also actively involved in the Armenian community of Greater Los Angeles and has served and continues to serve on multiple boards. Christine holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Leadership from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Urban Studies and Planning from the California State University Northridge. A Chicago native, but Angeleno at heart, she resides in the Seventh District with her family.
