Paola serves as the Director of Planning and Economic Development for Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez.
In this capacity, she supports land use and housing policy initiatives for the Office of Councilwoman Rodriguez.
Before joining the council office, Paola was an Associate Planner at MIG, a southern California based consulting firm, specializing in long-range planning and community engagement. In that role, she authored land use plans for various municipalities within Los Angeles County. She also designed and managed the community input process for local land use projects and statewide planning policy for a variety of public agencies.
Paola holds a BA in International Development from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA’s Luskin School of Public Affairs.
Paola looks forward to taking equestrian lessons in the district.
